A well-known builder committed suicide by shooting himself with a revolver in Surat’s Piplod area. The owner and builder of Black Pepper Hotel committed suicide after suffering from paralysis. His body has been sent to Civil Hospital for postmortem.

Arjanbhai Maniya, a 70-year-old builder and hotelier, lived with his family in Piplod area of Surat, he has three sons. Arjanbhai was the owner of the Black Pepper Hotel and a well-known builder in Surat. Arjanbhai was suffering from illness for a long time and fed up with this disease, today he committed suicide by shooting himself at home.
Brain stock had an attack two years ago
Arjanbhai had a brain stem attack two years back. Since then, Arjanbhai started having difficulty in speaking and walking. Arjanbhai was bedridden for two years and due to this he was under a lot of mental stress. Arjanbhai’s son Bharatbhai said, ‘My father took this step after being fed up with the disease. His revolver was kept in the locker but this morning somehow he took out the revolver from the locker and shot himself.
