Ahmedabad, 21 April (Hindustan). Special arrangements will be made for express buses for the passengers during summer vacations. About 1400 additional express buses will be operated daily. State’s Minister of State for Transport Harsh Sanghvi gave information in this regard.
The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation will make special arrangements to increase the number of passengers during the summer holidays. Plans have been made to visit various religious, tourist and other places of the state. The Minister of State said that along with smooth arrangements, an advance plan has been made by the Corporation for quick and safe travel during the vacations. In this, mainly buses will be operated from Surat to Saurashtra, Saurashtra to North Gujarat and South to North and Saurashtra. Apart from this, additional buses will also be operated from Gujarat to Maharashtra and Rajasthan outside the state.
Sanghvi informed that additional buses will be operated for areas like Ambaji, Somnath, Dwarka, Dakor, Pavagadh including Statue of Unity, Sasan Gir, Saputara, Diu and Kutch. Apart from this, additional buses will also be arranged for Mount Abu, Sundha Mata in Rajasthan and Shirdi, Nashik, Dhulia in Maharashtra.
