Currently, the common television stations for the CIS area – “Mir TV” and “Mir 24” do not hold a broadcast license issued by the Audiovisual Council and, respectively, are not media service providers in the Republic of Moldova.
Also, recently, the Chisinau authorities refused to finance this television station. During the period of 2000-2022, from the state budget, financial means in the amount of about 40.3 million lei were paid to the Republic of Moldova Representation of the Interstate Teleradiocompanie “MIR”.
