The scandal at the Court of Accounts: Marian Lupu announces that she is suing Tatiana Vozian

In a statement issued on the Court of Accounts page, Marian Lupu announces that she has initiated several legal actions, including a prior request by which she asks Tatiana Vozian “to deny the false and defamatory information contained in the message posted publicly on 11.04.2023, by which my honor, dignity and professional reputation are damaged, as well as the reparation of the moral damageā€.

Lupu also announces that he has filed a complaint with the Police, demanding that the employee of the institution be held criminally liable for slander. At the same time, the official also submitted a report to the Prosecutor’s Office, requesting the examination of “alleged illegal actions in relation to the person in question, with the issuing of a solution to the case, in the manner prescribed by law”.

T. Vozian shamelessly lied and must bear the consequences. It struck not only in me, but also in my family, as well as in CCRM, and in the collective of the institution. Those slanderous statements, which have nothing in common with reality, are inadmissible, regardless of the goals they pursued. I feel compelled to take all necessary actions to restore justice. The truth will come out anyway. If the person in question realizes the seriousness of his actions, he has one more chance to try to repair the harm he has done to me and my colleagues – to publicly admit that he lied.

Otherwise, Lupu claims that he will “apply to all the possibilities provided by the legislation in force to defend the honor and dignity of the family, the professional reputation, but also the image of the institution I lead.”

We remind you that, on April 11, 2023, the head of the general direction of methodology, planning and reporting of the Court of Accounts, Tatiana Vozian, accused the president of the institution, Marian Lupu, of sexual advances. The accusations were made public on Facebook, and the employee also attached an order by which she received a harsh reprimand from Lupu. The woman claims that this is happening with “the leading women at the Court of Accounts who do not obey the conditions and do not accept Lupu’s sexual advances”. Although Lupu personally did not come with a reaction, the institution posted a statement claiming that the accusations “are slander and insinuations”.

Later, on April 14, Vozian published a new post in which he accused Lupu of attempting to “polish” his image, asking to be presented with the statement or the lists “that my colleagues sign that Lupu is a “very good president” and I “blame him unfairly” and harm the image of the Court of Accounts”. Vozian claims that his statements do not concern the Court of Accounts and that an “entire institution is raised on the barricades in defense of Lupu and my harassment for denouncing immoral behaviors.”
