The Qatar Stock Exchange index started the day’s trading, up by 0.22%, to add 21.91 points to its balance, and break the barrier of 10,000 points, up to reach 10020, compared to the end of yesterday’s trading.
Figures issued by the Qatar Stock Exchange showed an increase in the performance of the banking and financial services sector by 0.58%, the transportation sector by 0.52%, and the insurance sector by 0.06%. On the other hand, the performance was negative for the real estate sector by 0.02%, the communications sector by 0.09%, and the goods and services sector. Consumer by 0.07%, industrial sector by 0.27%.
At 10:00, the Qatari Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth 41.065 million riyals, distributed over 15.831 million shares, with 1733 transactions executed.
