Police detained Telangana BJP Chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar from home late night before PM Modi’s visit

Telangana BJP Chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar was taken into custody by the police on Tuesday late night. Police took Kumar into custody from his Karimnagar residence, following which his supporters are protesting against the police over the incident.

The detainee Sanjay Kumar has been taken into custody at a time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the state on 8 April. The BJP has accused the state government that Telangana BJP chief Kumar has called a press conference against the BRS government on Wednesday morning at 9 am, due to which the police have taken him into custody.

According to reports, after the Telangana BJP chief’s arrest, the party is planning to hold protests across the state. On the other hand, BJP state general secretary Pramendra Reddy told the news agency that the police had illegally arrested state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar from his residence in Karimnagar. He said that this is an attempt by the state government to disrupt PM Modi’s program in Telangana.

As per reports, the BJP leader has been taken to the Bommala Ramaram police station in Nalgonda district. However, the real reason behind the detention of the detainee Sanjay Kumar is yet to be revealed.

Please tell that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Telangana on 8 April. During this visit, the Prime Minister will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train from Secunderabad to Tirupati and also launch various development schemes in the state.
