A case of cheating has been registered against Gauri Khan, wife of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, and two officials, including the chief managing director of Tulsiani Group, in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow. Police sources gave this information.
He told that Gauri is the brand ambassador of Tulsiani Group. According to police sources, on February 25 at the Sushant Golf City police station in Lucknow, along with Gauri, a Mumbai-based businessman Kirit Jaswant filed a complaint against Anil Kumar Tulsiani, the chief managing director of the construction company Tulsiani Constructions and Developers Pvt Ltd, and director Mahesh Tulsiani. A case of cheating has been registered.
Jaswant alleges that Gauri Khan is the brand ambassador of Tulsiani Group and believing the advertisement made by her, he had booked a flat in a project of Tulsiani Group in Lucknow in the year 2015.
According to Jaswant, he had paid Rs 85 lakh 46 thousand to Tulsiani Group for booking the flat, yet the company did not give him the possession of the flat.
Jaswant alleged that the company’s chief managing director Anil Tulsiani and director Mahesh Tulsiani started making various excuses for demanding the money back.
Jaswant says that in the year 2017, the company paid a total of Rs 22 lakh 70 thousand as damages on different dates and said that if the possession is not given within six months, the company will return the entire amount with interest. Jaswant said that however, he neither got the possession nor was paid the amount.
He said that later he came to know that the agreement for the sale of the flat for which it was executed was also executed with some other person.
