In Novosibirsk, in 2023, they intend to carry out a large-scale reconstruction of Pervomaisky Square. Vice Mayor Anna Tereshkova announced this on March 20 in her Telegram channel.

“In the year of the 130th anniversary of Novosibirsk, Pervomaisky Square is expecting a significant transformation: we are preparing the reconstruction of the square, which will affect its entire infrastructure,” the official said.

According to her, the improvement will also affect the pedestrian sidewalks along the perimeter of the square. We are talking about the streets of Maxim Gorky, Sovetskaya and Krasny Prospekt.

As clarifies Sib.fm, the design project was developed in 2021. The specialists reflected in it the original idea of creating the park, while retaining the main routes.

In February, it became known that the Novosibirsk Region would receive 97 billion rubles from the federal budget for large-scale projects. We are talking about the reconstruction of Tolmachevo Airport, the construction of a children’s rehabilitation center and other facilities.
