TASS: Special forces in Tbilisi began to push demonstrators out of Rustaveli Avenue

March 9 – BLiTZ. Became known. What is happening at these moments in the capital of Georgia – Tbilisi: from Rustaveli Avenue, where rallies were held against the adoption of the law on foreign agents, they began to expel protesters who built barricades and organized discos.

According to TASS sources close to the events, some protesters have already begun to be detained, their colleagues in the action began to throw stones at police representatives. Thus, peaceful protests turned into violent clashes, the police had to disperse the protesters and take them to the police stations.

Earlier it was reported that the protests began on Rustaveli Square on Monday, March 6. After that, the parliament adopted a new law on foreign agents, after which the actions gained scale.
