March 8 – BLiTZ. Russian diplomat Irina Tyazhlova said that attempts to make it legal at the international level to use information and communication technologies (ICT) for military-political purposes against other countries are unacceptable. It is reported by TASS.

The representative of the Russian Federation drew attention to the fact that many countries are in favor of the use of the above technologies in the development issue. She also pointed out the need to adapt international law to the specifics of ICT. However, this should take place in accordance with the UN convention, which will protect the world community in the field of information.
