March 8 – BLiTZ. Large-scale protests took place in Tbilisi. A report by the Georgian authorities on the results of the detainees has been published. Sputnik Georgia reports.

66 people were detained on charges of petty hooliganism and disobedience to the lawful demands of police officers. It is worth noting that a protest action was held yesterday against the adoption of the bill on foreign agents by Parliament.

At night on March 7, protesters damaged several police cars. They set fire to the parliament building, damaged security fences and smashed windows. Police officers were forced to use physical force and special personal protective equipment. An investigation has been launched into the violence against police officers. The use of tear gas, water cannons and bullets is also reported.

Tbilisi law enforcement officials are checking.
