March 7 – BLiTZ. Edition “FederalPress” with reference to the Chargé d’Affaires of the Malaysian Embassy in Russia, reported that it is planned to increase the visa-free period for Russians in Malaysia. According to the diplomat, two options are currently being considered for easing visa restrictions for our tourists. Now Russians can stay in this Asian country without a visa for 30 days, but it is possible to increase this period to 60, or even up to 90 days.

Although there are currently no legal restrictions on tourist trips to Malaysia, the difficulty for Russian tourists is the air traffic between the countries that has not resumed after the COVID-19 pandemic. So those who want to enjoy the beauty of modern architecture of Kuala Lumpur or swim in the South China Sea have to fly with transfers.
