March 7 – BLiTZ. In the European Union, fatigue and irritation from anti-Russian sanctions will inevitably accumulate. The process will affect everyone except the European officials who introduce them, declared in an interview with RIA Novosti, Acting Permanent Representative of Russia to the EU Kirill Logvinov.
European business, which has been supplying goods to the Russian market for years and buying high-quality Russian goods, will inevitably get tired of Brussels’ obsession with destroying the Russian economy by all means, Logvinov said.
But there is no need to talk about the fatigue of European institutions, because they act contrary to the laws of logic. Thus, the European Commission is happy that the share of trade between the EU and the Russian Federation that fell under sanctions has reached 132 billion euros, but they don’t think at all that these restrictions hurt European manufacturers first of all, the diplomat stressed.
Recall that the EU introduced the tenth package of sanctions against Russia on February 25. It is estimated at about 11.4 billion euros.
