Witnesses did not appear at a regular court hearing in a criminal case against Alexei Pinigin, a former deputy of the Voronezh City Duma, who is accused of major fraud. Writes about it IA “Abireg”.

It is noted that five witnesses were called to the meeting, which was scheduled for February 28. Representatives of the media did not come to court either, with the exception of the agency’s journalist.

In the summer of 2021, Andrey Matveev, the director of KM-Stroy LLC, fell under a criminal case for fraud during the construction of a school in the Gribanovsky district. It was reported that he allegedly handed over 9.2 million rubles to Alexei Pinigin for a promise to ensure timely acceptance and payment for the construction of a social facility.

In February 2022, the company was included in the list of unscrupulous contractors. After that, a criminal case was initiated against Pinigin.

Matveev was among the witnesses who did not appear in court. The next meeting is scheduled for March 20.
