Reuters: US authorities rejected Musk’s offer to test Neuralink chips on humans due to problems

March 2 – BLiTZ. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that it is rejecting Elon Musk’s application to test Neuralink neurochips on humans. This is reported by Pravda.ru.

Musk noted that the chips could allow blind people to see and the paralyzed could even walk, but US authorities have banned Neuralink from testing such chips on humans.

The refusal was motivated by special documents, where FDA experts note the most severe shortcomings that are dangerous to human health – for example, the threads of this network can migrate to other areas of the brain, threatening death or health problems to the person to whom they are connected.
