March 2 – BLiTZ. The Russian Federation considers the United States’ demand to allow inspection of the country’s nuclear facilities in the current conditions to be the height of cynicism. This statement was made by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov as part of his speech at the UN conference in Geneva.
According to him, the situation was aggravated by Washington’s desire to “probe” the level of protection of strategic objects of the Russian Federation. Thus, the States will assist Ukraine in carrying out attacks on them.

“Against this background, they perceived as the height of cynicism the demands of Washington with reference to the provisions of the START to provide it with inspection access to Russian nuclear facilities,” he concluded.
