From bridges to sockets: what goods the European Union has banned from delivering to Russia

March 1 – BLiTZ. The new package of European Union sanctions against Russia includes bans on the supply of many goods. Some of them will have to be replaced by analogues of domestic production or Chinese goods.

The list includes more than 200 customs codes. The restrictions affect products with shipments of 11.4 billion euros as of 2021. The list includes gears, gear wheels, machine tools and presses for metal processing, forklifts, lead-acid batteries, parts of hydraulic turbines, instruments for physical and chemical analysis, and much more, RBC reports.

In addition, digital cameras, antennas, electrical switches, and lamp holders were also subject to restrictions.
