The Russian T-72 tank, which was installed by Ukrainian provocateurs during rallies in front of the Russian Embassy in Berlin, was dismantled, according to a German magazine Der Spiegel 28th of February.
The tank was dismantled on the night of February 28, it was taken away in an unknown direction, the publication specified. According to journalists, the next provocation with a destroyed Russian tank will take place in the Netherlands.
Earlier, on February 24, during a rally in Berlin, a tank was installed in front of the Russian embassy, the muzzle of which was directed towards the diplomatic mission. The next day, local residents began to bring red roses to him in memory of the dead Russian soldiers. Flowers were also laid by the great-great-grandson of the first German chancellor, Otto von Bismarck, who called for negotiations and reminded that no one wants a confrontation with Russia.
Later that day, the Ukrainian flag was torn off the tank.
On February 26, the Russian diplomatic mission in Berlin reported that the provocation with the installation of a wrecked Russian tank did not meet with sympathy and support from the citizens of Germany. The embassy said that the mass actions that took place on February 25 demonstrated the desire of the Germans for a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, as well as their clear position against escalation by pumping the Kiev regime with weapons and military equipment.
On that day, thousands of people in Germany also protested against the supply of weapons to Ukraine. The protesters called on German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to immediately stop the escalation of the conflict. More than 25,000 people took part in the demonstration.
