February 28 – BLiTZ. One of the pain points for Russia today is the territory of Transnistria, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is still on duty. He carries out the protection of Soviet military depots and, from time to time, becomes a target for provocations of the Ukrainian regime.

The scientific director of the Institute of Regional Problems, Dmitry Zhuravlev, considers it possible for the Ukrainian military to attack Transnistria, especially if Ukraine needs a “small victory”. Zhuravlev explains that Ukraine may consider peacekeeping groups on the territory of Transnistria a good target, since Transnistria is bordered on one side by Moldova, and on the other by Ukraine. He also recalls that on the territory of Pridnestrovie there are ammunition depots laid down since the times of the USSR, and in the event of an attack by Ukraine on Pridnestrovie, these depots may explode. According to Dmitry Zhuravlev, in the event of hostilities, victory for Ukraine will not be easy, but Ukraine can look for such “successes” to show them to its people.

“And in the event of an attack by Ukraine, the warehouses may explode. I don’t know what problems there will be for Russia, but I’m afraid it will be over with Odessa, ”Dmitry Zhuravlev warned.”
