February 28 – BLiTZ. Environmental activists, including representatives of the Sami community, continue large-scale protests in Oslo against the construction of wind farms in indigenous areas. On Tuesday, they blocked the entrance to the Ministry of Finance, and earlier also to the Ministry of Oil and Energy, and the Ministry of Agriculture. At the same time, employees of six ministries were recommended to work from home. The protests involve dozens of activists who returned to the government quarter after being expelled by police on Monday.

In 2021, the Norwegian Supreme Court ruled that two wind farms in the Saami area violated their rights, as the sound of the installations frightened the deer, the main object of their trade. However, the Norwegian government sees the ultimate fate of wind farms as a complex legal and political issue and hopes to find a compromise. Activists continue to demand to remove the turbines.
