February 28, 2023, BLiTZ: The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation announced the beginning of the formation of propaganda brigades from musical performers. This was announced by the head of the department, Olga Lyubimova, adding that work on the creation of propaganda teams is being carried out jointly with the Ministry of Defense.

It is assumed that such groups of performers will “visit the guys in rehabilitation”, perform concerts in the squares and travel around the regions.

The poet-songwriter, songwriter Yuri Loza spoke about his attitude to the initiative to create propaganda teams to support the military personnel of the Northern Military District in a conversation with the BLiTZ.

In his opinion, the creation of propaganda teams is not worth doing. If you create some kind of musical associations in support of the NWO, then you need to do this far from the front, the musician is sure.

“Any artist who appears on the front lines is a headache”

“One should not think that now the situation is the same as we had during the Great Patriotic War. Now there are completely different air defense systems, completely different tracking. Any artist who appears on the front lines is a headache. Why? Because he becomes a target,” he explained.

Loza noted that as soon as the artists appear in the special operation zone, reconnaissance drones immediately find out about it and send information to the Ukrainian military personnel, “who are sitting and loading large howitzers.”

“They hit 170-180 kilometers! Where are you going to go?

According to the singer, artists who sympathize with the Russian military can perform in hospitals and training centers for future front-line soldiers. However, propaganda teams are not needed for this, Loza emphasized, since these are ordinary concerts.

“And to go there – yes, any person who fights there will say to you: “Are you guys sick?”

“And there is no need for the pathos of all this, and there is no need for show-offs. You just have to go there and work for them. There is no need to portray activity – you just need to act. But these actions, in general, are not included in the format of these same front-line brigades. And to go there – yes, any person who fights there will tell you: “Are you guys sick?”, – the DOS interlocutor believes.

In conclusion, Loza pointed out that the war “has changed”, and now conditions in the NVO zone are different from those that were during the Great Patriotic War. These “today’s realities” must be taken into account.

Earlier News reported that singer Yuri Loza urged to stop attributing political overtones to the songs of Viktor Tsoi.
