The head of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, Vasily Piskarev, reacted to the situation with PMC Redan.
As the parliamentarian emphasized, the events with the detention of the fans of the movement will be investigated in detail in the near future. In addition, Piskarev undertook to send relevant requests to law enforcement officers.
“It’s one thing if we are talking about the enthusiasm of young people for some kind of cartoon, and another if these are attempts disguised as a youth subculture to involve the younger generation in a criminal environment, riots and fights,” he noted in his Telegram channel.
The deputy pointed to the so-called “death groups”, where teenagers and children “under the guise of a game were involved in a deadly experiment.” Based on his statements, it is necessary to find out if representatives of unfriendly states are behind this, “whose sole purpose is to destabilize the situation through youth.”
Recall that in St. Petersburg, about one and a half hundred likely participants in the so-called private military company Redan and their opponents, who were trying to arrange a mass brawl, were detained.
