The illegitimate son of Russian politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Oleg Eidelstein, has appealed the decision of the Tverskoy Court of Moscow on administrative arrest for 15 days in the case of violation of public order and a fight with a policeman. This was reported to Izvestia on Monday, February 27, in the press service of the court.

“The appeal has been received, consideration is scheduled at the Moscow City Court tomorrow at 12:00,” the message says.

On February 16, an Izvestia source reported that law enforcement agencies detained Edelstein for a fight in a restaurant and an attack on an inspector of a patrol service (PPS). The incident took place in the Tkemali restaurant on Lubyanka. According to the source, the son of the politician behaved aggressively, insulted the employees and hit the PPS inspector in the chest.

An administrative case was opened against him under the article “Hooliganism”. The Tverskoy Court of Moscow sent Edelstein under administrative arrest – he will spend the next 15 days in a cell.

Later that day it became known that Eidelstein partially admitted his guilt in disturbing the peace. He stated that he was guilty of being in court. At the same time, he emphasized that he did not have any conflicts in the restaurant, he only met his acquaintances and drank a little with him in the institution. According to the man, he was detained already at the exit of the restaurant.
