The series of earthquakes continues. Today, February 27, tremors were again witnessed. This time, Kyrgyzstan suffered. An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 was felt even in Alma-Ata, as reported by TASS in a seismological experimental and methodological expedition of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Two hours later, another earthquake was recorded, with a magnitude of 4.2, already on the border of Kyrgyzstan and China.

On the same day, Turkey shook again. At 9 am local time, an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 was recorded in the east of the country.

Conspiracy theories regarding seismological weapons and the political causes of earthquakes appear in the information field more and more often.

There are also concerns about possible attempts to attack Russia’s underbelly and the country itself in this way.

Political scientist Andrey Kortunov told the correspondent of the BLiTZ about how such, at first glance, fantastic ways to “make a warning” to the Russian Federation and other countries can be a reality, and to whom they can be beneficial.

“Today, a lot is happening that we never even imagined before.”

“I can’t say anything about seismological weapons, as I don’t understand this, but even so, it’s not difficult for me to imagine that such a thing is possible. Today, a lot is happening that we had not even imagined before, ”he said.

Such catastrophes, according to the expert, usually play against the authorities.

“If we take the situation in Turkey, then Recep Tayyip Erdogan is trying to say that he is an effective manager and can solve all the problems associated with the earthquake as quickly, efficiently and with responsibility,” Kortunov said.

The expert is sure that the Turkish opposition, despite this, will still blame the Turkish president for issuing some kind of building permits, that earthquake resistance standards were lowered there, and that all this led to such great casualties.

“People will somehow associate all these cataclysms with the activities of the authorities, even if this is de facto not the case”

“They will say that all this is corruption and so on. This most often works against the authorities. One way or another, people will associate all these cataclysms with the activities of the authorities, even if this is de facto not the case. Of course, this is beneficial to those forces that want change, want to change the government or even change the regime, ”Kortunov is sure.

According to the expert, recurring natural disasters in a particular region will add regional, and perhaps global instability in the near future.
