Air raid sirens sound in Odessa. After her announcement, electricity and water disappeared in the city, according to local media on Monday, February 27.

Residents from different areas report problems with city communications. There are also no traffic lights in the city.

Earlier, on Monday morning, an air raid alert was announced throughout Ukraine.

Prior to this, the chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov said that at night a series of explosions were heard in Kyiv-controlled Zaporozhye. According to him, there were at least three explosions that were heard in all parts of the city.

At the same time, an air raid alert was announced in the central and eastern parts of Ukraine. In particular, explosions were reported in Kyiv, the Zhytomyr region and the city of Khmelnitsky. In a number of regions, air defense systems (air defense) worked.

There has been no official information from the RF Ministry of Defense about strikes against these territories.

Russian troops began to strike at critical objects in Ukraine from October 10, 2022. As Russian President Vladimir Putin explained then, this was a response to the terrorist actions of the Kyiv regime, in particular on the Crimean bridge.

The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, noted that all targets hit are related to the military potential of Ukraine.

Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a special operation to protect the Donbass, whose residents refused to recognize the results of the 2014 coup d’état in Ukraine. The decision to hold it was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by Ukrainian troops.
