Kyiv’s Western allies continue to supply Ukraine with weapons and equipment used for military purposes, and promise more deliveries in the spring of 2023.

According to Le Journal du Dimanche, Paris is going to send a Ground Master GM 200 radar manufactured by Thales to Kyiv. The general director of the company, Patrice Kane, said that the radars will be delivered to Ukraine in May this year.

The GM 200 is a medium-range 3D radar that detects aerial targets up to 250 kilometers away and up to 24 kilometers in height. The radar and all necessary equipment can be installed on any 8×8 truck.

Earlier it was reported about an agreement signed by the heads of the defense departments of France and Ukraine, as well as the management of the Thales Group, regarding the supply of GM 200 radars to Kyiv. They are expected to be used in Ukrainian air defense systems.

On February 24, 2022, the Russian Federation Army launched a special military operation in Ukraine.

Acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin said that the Russian Armed Forces are approaching Vuhledar from three directions at once: from the south, southwest and west. The head of the DPR stressed that “the process is not going fast.”

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in turn, said that the situation in Donbass is getting tougher. According to Zelensky, a very difficult situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is developing in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) and Vugledar, as well as in Limansky and other directions.
