Belarus intends to increase the export of industrial products to Russia by ten percent in 2023. The corresponding statement was made by Deputy Minister of Industry of the country Dmitry Kharitonchik as part of a speech on the air of the Belarus-1 TV channel.

The politician said that the work is progressing with positive dynamics. At the same time, in accordance with the results of the year, compared with the indicators of 2022, it is planned to achieve a growth rate of 110 percent. Recall that last year the Belarusian industry increased supplies to Russia by 50 percent.

Kharitonchik also stressed that it would not be easy to reach the same level of growth. “But at the same time, the groundwork that was created last year in terms of interaction with our Russian partners is yielding results this year,” he said.

The Deputy Minister also said that in the field of import substitution, joint projects of the two states are currently entering the stage of financing and purchasing equipment. However, some of them are already at the stage of approval.

Earlier, the BLiTZ reported that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation began the transfer of the military from the territory of Belarus back to Russia. So, the echelon with Russian servicemen and military equipment set off from the Slonim station in the Grodno region to Matveev Kurgan in Rostovskaya.
