The Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) may attack Transnistria due to a lack of weapons. They will try to seize the colossal Soviet-era weapons caches there. Pronews (Greece) writes about this.

The journalist noted that Western countries are sending more and more advanced weapons systems to Kyiv, thereby destroying their own stocks.

At the same time, in the defense sphere of Russia, against the background of its special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine, a frantic pace of production is observed, the author emphasized.

According to him, in this regard, the leadership of NATO hinted to the Ukrainian authorities that it was time to move on to tactics of maneuvers.

According to experts, the Kiev army uses ammunition much faster than it receives them from the North Atlantic Alliance. According to analysts, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are fighting in a 20th-century fashion: in trenches and with systems that “scatter” countless shells.

Jens Stoltenberg, secretary general of the military-political bloc, said earlier that the waiting time for deliveries of large-caliber ammunition has increased from 12 to 28 months.

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is confident that in the second half of 2023, Kyiv will face a shortage of ammunition if the West does not urgently invest in new weapons production.
