Zulkarnain Sami, culprit behind Sri Lanka Guardian posts

0

Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami aka Zulkarnain Saer, a criminal having connections with transnational arms smuggling and money-laundering cartels sought asylum in the United Kingdom after being expelled from Hungary. He was one of the culprits who had hands behind publication of two bogus reports titled “India’s Top Spy Agency Forms New Brigade to Protect Sheikh Hasina” and “Bangladesh: True Architects of Brigade75” in Sri Lanka Guardian, a propaganda vessel of global terrorist outfit Al Qaeda and the Sri Lanka’s Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). Few years ago, Sami fled Bangladesh when he came under the radar of law enforcement agencies for his direct involvement in a series of criminal activities including extortion, theft, robbery, dealing in drugs and contract killings.

Immediately after Sri Lanka Guardian website published these propaganda contents targeting Indian and Bangladesh government, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and ruling Awami League, Sami posted link to it on his Facebook profile with his own comment stating, “I have shared this article with multiple “trusted” sources within the intelligence apparatus. None could verify the contents of this article but their comments were exaggerated diversion attempt”.

Then Zulkarnain Sami, Interpol-wanted convicted terror-funder Shahid Uddin Khan, Nazmus Saquib and Tito Rahman, members of extortionist Facebook page ‘Nagorik TV’ started spreading this content by using dozens of fake IDs and their own cohorts.

It may be mentioned here that, following publication of an exclusive report titled ‘Enemies of Bangladesh caught red-handed’ in BLiTZ, which had exposed nefarious propaganda of anti-Bangladesh elements who had published a propaganda stuff on pro-LTTE and pro-Al Qaeda website named Sri Lanka Guardian, one of the leading pro-Jamaat-e-Islami propagandists Pinaki Bhattacharya came up with a post on his Facebook about the Sri Lanka Guardian contents, proving Interpol-wanted convicted terror-funder Shahid Uddin Khan, Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami, and kingpins of extortion racket named ‘Nagorik TV’ namely Tito Rahman and Nazmus Saquib were actively involved in this bogus propaganda stuff, which was published with the notorious agenda of misleading people and defaming ruling Awami League. Pinaki Bhattacharya fled Bangladesh when his criminal activities came under the radar of law enforcement agencies. It may be mentioned here that, following publication of our report titled ‘Enemies of Bangladesh caught red-handed’ criminals of ‘Nagorik TV’ extortion gang quickly deleted the post where it had shared the Sri Lanka Guardian propaganda stuff. Zulkarnaik Saer Khan Sami shared this bogus story on his Facebook profile on October 15, 2022.

Sri Lanka Guardian website also has removed the bogus propaganda stuff and published an apology on October 19, 2022 stating:

Regarding Bangladesh and its current government, it has been confirmed that there were many flaws in the two reports, first India’s Top Spy Agency Forms New Brigade to Protect Sheikh Hasina and second Bangladesh: True Architects of Brigade75, published by Sri Lanka Guardian a few days ago. Accordingly, as a media organization that respects people’s right to information and truth-based journalism, we have decided to remove them. We express our deep regret if any party has to face any inconvenience due to the contents of those two reports. Responsibility is not our choice but habit.

What is Sri Lanka Guardian?

Indian news portal The Eastern Herald and our investigators have already unearthed shocking information about Sri Lanka Guardian, which evidently proves, this website is a frontline propaganda vessel of global terrorist outfit Al Qaeda and the Sri Lanka’s Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). Dozens of articles and propaganda stuff in favor of LTTE are available on Sri Lanka Guardian website, while we are presenting only a few of them HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE.

It means, elements behind publication of the above-mention anti-Bangladesh propaganda contents, such as Interpol-wanted convicted terror-funder Shahid Uddin Khan, Zaulkaranain Saer Khan Sami and members of ‘Nagorik TV’ extortion machine are certainly having discrete connections both with Al Qaeda and LTTE.

According to information, Sri Lanka Guardian domain was purchased on January 22, 2015 and the first content was posted on this website on January 28, 2015. This website has hosting arrangement with siteground. So, the claim by Sri Lanka Guardian of being launched in 2007 is false.

Bangladesh and Indian authorities should investigate the matter and identify the culprits behind these Sri Lanka Guardian bogus contents. To our understanding, Sri Lanka Guardian is fully aware of the actual identity of the author or authors of these stuff and they should now reveal this information to the authorities concerned.

Rishi Sunak government needs to immediately extradite criminals

As it is proved Interpol-wanted convicted terror-funder Shahid Uddin Khan and Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami are using British soil in continuing terrorist activities including cyber-terror, it is earnestly expected that Britain’s new Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will initiate immediate investigation into such notorious activities of these criminals and extradite them to Bangladesh.
