University of Portsmouth scandal, Blitz editor draws attention of UK Education Minister

As the scandal centering the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom and behavior of the authorities of this educational institution and one of its professors named Tamsin Bradley has already started generating doubts about UK university’s involvement in fraudulent activities as well selling fake educational certificates including PhD degree certificates, editor of Blitz and internationally acclaimed multi-award winning anti-militancy journalist Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury has already drawn attention of Rt Hon James Cleverly MP, the Secretary of Education of the United Kingdom as well as other senior officials to this matter.

In his letter titled ‘Dubious role of the University of Portsmouth and fake PhD certificate’, Mr. Choudhury wrote:

In May 2022, an individual named Md. Shahid Uddin Khan through a post on his Facebook ID published photograph of an image of a certificate of ‘Doctor of Philosophy’ (Certificate number 00058408), which he claimed to have been issued by the University of Portsmouth, UK. He also mentioned the named of Ms. Tamsin Bradley, a professor of the aforesaid university as the “supervisor” of his thesis titled ‘Military intervention and its impacts on the democratic process of Bangladesh’.

The reporters of our newspaper did not find any existence of Md. Shahid Uddin Khan’s claimed thesis on the University of Portsmouth’s alumni network. Here is the link: https://www.port.ac.uk/about-us/alumni.

When a correspondent of BLiTZ contacted the university, they expressed utter surprise as they even have never heard the name of Shahid Uddin Khan.

In the following link, all the theses are mentioned and published. In 2022 they’ve published 17 papers:

We found no thesis on the military during 2022. Although we found 3 theses in 2021, there is nothing written by anyone named Shahid Uddin Khan or Md. Shahid Uddin Khan.

We have also checked the list of 2021 theses, where we did not find anything from Shahid Uddin Khan or Md. Shahid Uddin Khan. Here is the link:

As the matter seemed to be extremely dubious, we called the telephone number of Professor Tamsin Bradley and also sent her email. Neither the calls were answered, nor the email.

Shahid Uddin Khan is an Interpol-wanted convicted terror-funder who has been on run since 2018. Sitting in the United Kingdom, he is continuing subversive activities against Bangladesh. We can provide specific evidence on Mr. Khan’s illegal activities as well as his involvements in terrorist activities.

Meanwhile, on condition of anonymity, an official at the University of Portsmouth said, there had been similar allegations of fraudulent claim by a number of individuals stating they have graduated from the university. As those matters were investigated it was revealed that most of the certificates were collected by the false graduates of the University of Portsmouth from online companies selling fake certificates.

The source further said, Tamsin Bradley has already been “questioned” by the authorities about the mysterious claim by an Interpol-wanted terror-funder of getting PhD degree from the university under her supervision.

It was also learnt that Tamsin Bradley was introduced to a female named Parisa Pinaz Khan, daughter of Interpol-wanted convicted terror-funder Shahid Uddin Khan, as she is Professor Bradley’s SOAS University of London’s alumni.

According to UK newspaper The Spectator, in 2005, SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) had become the first student union in the UK to commit to the Palestinian-led BDS (Boycott, Divestments, and Sanctions) campaign, meaning that Israeli products were not sold in any of the bars or shops run by the union. The union then organized a referendum on whether the university should go further by breaking off any formal associations with Israeli institutions, including academic ones. Although a majority of both students and staff voted in favor of the proposal, the management refused to implement it, stating that such a policy would be an assault on academic freedom.

In 2015, students (and a few hangers on) occupied a campus building known as The Brunei Gallery, named because it was built using money donated by the Sultan of Brunei, the leader of a country whose human rights abuses are by any measure far more grievous than those of Israel. It was in that year that Amos was appointed as director, following an illustrious career as a diplomat, UN official, and now Labour peer. For this she was described in the Soas student newspaper as a ‘cog in the colonial machine’ and resistance to her management began immediately, with rubbish reportedly thrown at her office door by students who considered her to be a ‘Neo-Conservative’ stained by her association with Tony Blair’s government. Her plans to cut undersubscribed courses have been met with resistance every step of the way. So too have her efforts to reach out to potential donors: the students who occupied the Brunei Gallery stated explicitly that their aim was to disrupt the building being used for ‘corporate’ purposes.

SOAS is already known as the epicenter of anti-Semitism and pro-Nazi activities. For the Interpol-wanted terror-funder Shahid Uddin Khan’s second daughter Parisa Pinaz Khan, there wouldn’t be a better place than SOAS to further pursue her father’s dedicated activities in spreading religious hatred, anti-Semitism, radical Islam and jihad.

At a SOAS ceremony, Parisa Pinaz Khan met Tamsin Bradley and invited her to the residence of Khans. As Bradley later visited the residence of Interpol-wanted terror-funder Shahid Uddin Khan, she was requested to help Khan with a PhD degree. A crook Shahid Uddin Khan also passed some cash in an envelop to Tamsin Bradley stating it was “just a small gesture”. As Shahid Uddin Khan did not qualify for doing a PhD with the University of Portsmouth, it was Tamsin Bradley who came up with the idea of providing him a “genuine looking” certificate.

It may be mentioned here that, Tamsin Bradley is amongst those Israel haters from the SOAS University of London.

Meanwhile, editor of Blitz has drawn the attention of UK media to this scandal centering the University of Portsmouth.
