NATO stands as an obstacle to peace in Ukraine

With Ukraine war rolling for the fifth month with almost no sign of an end, further continuation of this war would ultimate put everyone at stake, as neither side can lose nor can win. Despite continuous propaganda run by the Western mass media targeting Russian President Vladimir Putin, it is highly unlikely that he may surrender to the whims of Joe Biden, his Western allies and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Meanwhile, situation would further worsen with NATO quickly redoubling its efforts to ensure that Ukraine gets as much as military support and Kiev does not fall. The Pentagon may say that its uniformed military has withdrawn, but it has forces across Europe involved in training the Ukrainian military, some just across the border from Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is heavily involved inside Ukraine and has been providing plenty of on-spot training alongside intelligence support. According to credible sources, CIA also has intensified its activities inside Russia with two goals – gather as much as possible intelligence feedback – and pursued the possibility of a coup d’état inside Kremlin. Commandoes from other NATO nations, including the United Kingdom, Canada, France and Lithuania are also moving in and out of Ukraine with the mission of conducting a range of tasks, while they also are having no hesitation in extending military assistance to neo-Nazi groups, including Azov Battalion, which is seen by counterterrorism experts as “tomorrow’s Nazi Al Qaeda”.

In fact, mainly because of efforts of US President Joe Biden, NATO has already started a proxy war in Ukraine, while it is understood that NATO cannot conceive losing this war as it would result its mighty image. Meanwhile, the NATO alliances are increasing their alert forces from 40,000 to more than 300,000, including thousands more US troops being already deployed to Europe. To meet such military expansion programs, most of the NATO countries have already announced significant increase in military budgets.

In this case, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is at the forefront of increasingly involving Britain in Ukraine war as he is in dire need of support from the Conservatives, who happen to love anything military. Johnson excitedly talks of a 25 percent increase in the defense budget, with additional tens of billions of pounds being spent over the next few years. Despite the fact that the UK Treasury is determined to control lavish military spending, as it sees putting more cash in military activities as “wasteful”, Boris Johnson and his government is not willing to stop in their war-mongering adventure in Ukraine. Because, Ukraine war can be used by the Conservatives as an effective excuse of remaining in power for a longer period.

Under such scenario, when Ukrainian side is fully depending on spreading massive propaganda against Russia and Vladimir Putin, Russia’s response to both NATO’s actions and Ukrainian publicity is rather defensive, instead of being a bit proactive, particularly in telling the international community about the on-ground realities. Reason behind putting importance in running anti-Kremlin publicity by Zelensky and Ukraine is understandable as Kiev is in dire needs of keeping Western publics on its side. No doubt, Zelensky has been successful in running and even boosting the publicity to optimum level.

On the other hand, while Russia is presented as having formidable forces encroaching on territory in Donbass, with seemingly little to stop time, if we go through publicity run by Ukraine, we can only hear the bogus claim by the Ukrainian side of “Russian forces fleeing the war-fields” and “defeat of Moscow is imminent”. This is one of the key reasons that Western publics are not raising objection to spending millions of dollars from their state budgets in helping Ukraine.

But of course, despite intensified anti-Russia propaganda warfare, the reality is, within the span of next several weeks, Russian forces in Ukraine will achieve further advancement thus finally resulting in fall of Kiev and Zelensky. Pro-Ukraine analysts may reject my assessment stating, “as for the ground troops, Russians may outnumber their Ukrainian opponents, but their morale is much lower, not least because of the tens of thousands killed and maimed and huge losses on weapons and equipment”, anyone having actual knowledge on what is really happening in Ukraine would only laugh at such wild statements. Should really “hundreds of thousands” of Russian soldiers had already “died of maimed”, Zelensky and his Western warlords would not continue to almost openly express their extreme wariness.
