It is appalling that Human Rights Watch (HRW) is condemning Canada for not agreeing to repatriate these people among whom are many who are likely to be dangerous jihadists. Writes Christine Douglass-Williams
In a surprise move, “Canadian authorities are preventing a Canadian woman and a child detained in a camp in Syria from returning home to get life-saving medical treatment.” The woman is Kimberly Polman, who is at al-Hol camp in Syria, an extremely violent camp due to those who are living there.
Islamic State brides are as dangerous as their male counterparts and should not be permitted to return to their “home countries” in the West. All too many of them do not regard these “home countries” as “home” at all, but as nations to subvert in their jihad war of conquest. They also deem Western countries as to be exploited for financial benefit, and in the case of Kimberly Polman, for medical benefit, courtesy of infidel taxpayers.
The children of Islamic State brides (aka Cubs of the Caliphate) are also often a threat to Western security, given their brutal training from toddler to teenager to become executioners, soldiers and jihad suicide bombers.
It is appalling that Human Rights Watch (HRW) is condemning Canada for not agreeing to repatriate these people among whom are many who are likely to be dangerous jihadists, while appealing to bleeding hearts to lend a helping hand to Polman. Yet HRW shows absolutely no concern for the innocents victimized by Kimberly Polman and other Islamic State jihadists. It is interesting to note that a lead researcher with HRW is Omar Shakir. According to Canary Mission, “Shakir has defended terrorists, whitewashed violent protests and demonized Israel.”
It is welcome news to see Canada resist bringing back these dangerous jihadists who train their children to be loyal to Islamic State ideology, particularly since Justin Trudeau once stated, in a jaw-dropping comment, that Islamic State jihadists “can be an extraordinarily powerful voice for preventing radicalization.” Some years ago, leaked intelligence documents also revealed a greater threat of Islamic terror than the Trudeau government had admitted. It also emerged that dozens of jihadis were walking free, yet authorities wouldn’t charge them, due in part to the complexity involved in prosecuting crimes against humanity that were committed overseas.
The one glitch to Canada’s resistance to welcoming back Islamic State jihadists and its brides:
the Canadian government has said that if its citizens reach a consulate, it will assist them, including if they request repatriation, HRW said.
Jihadists are citizens and loyalists of the Islamic State. They are focussed on conquest of the House of War (dar al harb). They have no place in Canada or any Western country that is concerned about securing the safety of citizens.

Canadian authorities are preventing a Canadian woman and a child detained in a camp in Syria from returning home to get life-saving medical treatment, contradicting policies that allow such repatriations, a prominent rights group said Tuesday.
Human Rights Watch identified the two “gravely ill” Canadians as Kimberly Polman, 49, and a child under age 12. It withheld further details about the child, who is not related to Polman, including the name and medical condition, to protect their privacy.
There are nearly 50 Canadian nationals stuck in camps in northeastern Syria. Some of them have been held since even before the Islamic State group lost the last sliver of land in its self-declared caliphate in March 2019. More than half of the Canadians are children, most under age 7, HRW said.
They are among tens of thousands of women and children from about 60 countries being held by US-backed Kurdish-led fighters in the camps. Many of them are wives, widows and children of IS fighters.
