In Bangladesh’s musical arena, Priyanka Biswas is an emerging name who is gradually becoming a known name to the music lovers both in Bangladesh as well as Bangla-speaking populace in India and beyond. With her melodious voice and exception performance style, she is also winning the hearts of millions of young music-maniacs.

Priyanka Biswas was amongst the Top-10 contestants in a musical reality show on television in 2012. She started learning music from her father Pankaj Biswas and later she had learnt from Dr. Ashit Roy of Rajshahi University. Now Priyanka is a student of Chhayanaut, an esteemed musical school in Bangladesh.

According to this talented young artist, music is not something that anyone can master instantly. It requires dedication and regular practicing under the guidance of a teacher.

In recent days, Priyanka has started writing songs for herself and aspires of emerging as a songwriter and composer in the near future. By now, she already has finalized the tune for three of her own songs. Soon these songs will be recorded and released on YouTube channels.

In 2017, Priyanka’s duet with Kazi Shuvo titled Chai Je Chokh Kotha Bolte was released by a music label named Laser Vision.

Priyanka’s first original song was aired on Khulna Betar. But in the TV reality show, her first original track was O Rongeo Karigor. In 2019 her duet with Apu Aman titled Jabona Chherey was released from a music label named Dhrubo Music Station.

She had received a huge appreciation for singing Aroti Mukherjee’s very popular song titled Nodir Jemon Jhorna Achhey, which was re-arranged by Partho Barua for Ceylon Music. Her melodious presentation had impressed everyone.

Priyanka also has her own original patriotic song titled Ei To Aamar Desh, Pran-er Bangladesh.

Recently, Crown Music, one of the leading music labels in Bangladesh, has expressed interest in signing Priyanka Biswas for a melodious song marking the occasion of the birth centennial of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Talking to this correspondent, a source in Crown Music said, “We always are looking for new talents and Priyanka is one of them. We are now only going to sign her for a new song, we may also select her for playback of an under-production movie of our sister concern, Crown Entertainment”.

About her future plans about the musical career, Priyanka said, “I want to do music only. Music is my love, passion, and devotion. I want to render the song even when I leave this world”.
