Glamorous actor Shilpa Shetty always had a certain pull for comedy roles. Naturally, she did not miss out on the opportunity to work in Hungama 2. A source quoted, “Even though it is being touted as a sequel to Hungama, this film is not a continuation of the 2003 hit and has a different storyline.” The film will be directed by Priyadarshan, where Shilpa will be paired opposite Paresh Rawal. The film will also star Meezaan Jaaferi and South Indian actor Pranitha Subhash. The director said, “Hungama 2 will go on floors on January 6……We have titled the film Hungama 2 because it has funny situations arising from confusion and misunderstandings, and thus, has the spirit of Hungama.” Apart from this, Shilpa will also be seen working in Sabbir Khan’s action film, Nikamma, which is set to hit the theatres in 2020.
