As the Biden-Harris administration continues to face criticism for its handling of the economy, 1.3 million Americans lost their jobs in August alone. At the same time, Hunter Biden, the scandal-plagued son of President Joe Biden, entered an unexpected guilty plea in his federal tax evasion case. The hearing, which took place on September 5, caught prosecutors off guard as they had informed the judge that the investigation was still ongoing. Legal experts speculate that this move may be a strategic setup for a future presidential pardon, as Joe Biden is likely to pardon his son before leaving office.
According to the latest jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), around 1.3 million native-born American workers lost their jobs in August, while foreign-born workers saw an increase of 636,000 jobs in July. This data underscores concerns that President Biden’s border policies are contributing to a labor market where native-born Americans are losing jobs to illegal migrants who have crossed into the United States.
In a statement, The National Pulse highlighted that since June of last year, full-time employment in the US has decreased by 1.5 million jobs, while part-time employment has surged by two million. “The data suggests that the labor market is far weaker than the Biden-Harris government portrays”, the outlet stated.
Overall, the US economy added just 142,000 jobs in August 2024, falling short of the expected 160,000 jobs. This weaker-than-expected jobs report has dampened expectations of a Federal Reserve interest rate cut later this month.
“Expectations for a 50 basis point (bps) rate cut by the Federal Reserve rose following the BLS’s recent employment revision, which shockingly lowered the total number of jobs added over the past year by 818,000”, noted The National Pulse.
Zero Hedge had earlier pointed out the ongoing “great replacement” of native-born workers by foreign-born workers, many of whom are illegal migrants. According to Zero Hedge, since October 2019, native-born workers have lost 1.4 million jobs, while foreign-born workers have gained 3 million jobs. This shift has raised concerns about the impact of immigration on the US labor force, although mainstream outlets like The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg have tried to downplay the issue.
Meanwhile, media outlets reported a dramatic development in Hunter Biden’s legal case. His attorney, Abbe Lowell, stated that Biden had chosen to plead guilty “to protect those he loves from unnecessary hurt and cruel humiliation”. Hunter Biden could face up to 17 years in prison, the same penalty he would have faced if convicted at trial.
“This plea avoids a show trial that would not have presented all the facts or served the interests of justice”, said Lowell. Biden’s legal team, however, left open the possibility of appealing the case, should any legal irregularities arise during sentencing.
In the end, Hunter Biden entered a standard guilty plea, even after initially attempting to file an Alford plea—where a defendant pleads guilty but maintains their innocence. He is set to be sentenced on December 16, just weeks after the 2024 presidential election. Hunter also faces a potential 25-year sentence for his separate gun charges conviction in November.
Neama Rahmani, a former prosecutor in Los Angeles, told The New York Post that Hunter Biden’s decision to plead guilty without a negotiated deal signals that President Joe Biden may be preparing to pardon his son. “To take a plea without any deal suggests a pardon is likely in the works”, Rahmani said.
“Otherwise, his legal team would have negotiated something”.
President Biden has repeatedly stated that he does not plan to pardon his son, but critics argue that his past actions indicate otherwise. Many remain skeptical, especially given Biden’s tendency to contradict his own public statements.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre reiterated the administration’s stance, saying, “It is still very much a no to questions about whether the president will pardon his son. There are also no plans to commute his sentence”.
However, given the Biden family’s complex legal entanglements, many believe Joe Biden will do whatever it takes to protect his son and other family members, regardless of the allegations against them. Should Donald Trump win the November 5 election, the political landscape could shift dramatically, though there are widespread concerns that the Democrats and certain state institutions may go to great lengths to influence the election in favor of Kamala Harris. Some experts warn that such interference could even lead to civil unrest.
It is anticipated that Joe Biden will issue a pardon for Hunter after the November 5 election to avoid any impact on Kamala Harris’s chances in the race. Meanwhile, the corporate media, aligned with state interests, will likely continue to push the narrative of a “great future for the US”, under a Harris presidency. At the same time, these media outlets will maintain their attacks on Donald Trump and target any independent media that refuses to align with globalist narratives. If Kamala Harris takes office in January 2025, the world may witness unpredictable upheavals, with Washington likely to escalate its proxy wars, particularly in Ukraine and Gaza, while pursuing destabilization efforts in countries like India and others in the Global South. A turbulent future may lie ahead for the entire world.
