After this, on Thursday, the Acting Information Minister of Punjab Government, Aamir Mir shared on social media that eight terrorists fleeing from Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence in Lahore have been arrested. He also claimed that the arrested terrorists have already been identified. They were involved in the alleged attack on the Corps Commander’s House in Lahore on May 9.
The team will talk to the PTI chief before the search
According to the report of television channel Geo News, the Punjab government has decided to send a team to hold talks with the PTI chief before conducting a search operation in Zaman Park. Meanwhile, the negotiating team led by Lahore Commissioner Mohammad Ali Randhawa is expected to reach Zaman Park today after Friday prayers to search Imran Khan’s residence. At the same time, Punjab’s Acting Information Minister Aamir Mir said that the team to hold talks with the PTI chief would be headed by the commissioner of Lahore. He said that this team would fix a time during Imran Khan’s time and then his house would be searched in the presence of cameras. He said that around 400 police personnel would go to the Zaman Park house to arrest the terrorists hiding there.
