Salaries have not been paid to 400 teachers working in the upgraded high school of Deoghar since March. While festivals including Holi and Eid have passed. While the department had directed to pay all the pending honorarium before Eid. In this regard, when the DEO office was contacted, it was found that there is a lack of allotment.
Because of this there is despair among the teachers. They say that the department is giving step-motherly treatment to us. They say that the salaries of assistant teachers including teachers of primary school, middle school, government schools have been paid, but we have not been paid the salary yet. Because of this we are facing huge difficulties in running the house.
