Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) and HSD Engine Company (HSD Engine) have signed a long-term service agreement to provide maintenance services and spare parts to maintain the continued efficiency of the engines used on Nakilat-owned LNG vessels.

The agreement aims to raise and improve the operational efficiency of ship engines to contribute to the readiness of the fleet of LNG transport ships in general, and to ensure compliance with the best standards of quality and readiness, thus maintaining Nakilat’s distinction and consolidating its position as a global leader and preferred provider in the field of energy transportation and marine services.

Commenting on this agreement, Eng. Abdullah Al-Sulaiti, CEO of the company, said: “We are pleased to sign this agreement with HSD Engine. Our priority in Nakilat is to increase the operational efficiency of our ships and maintain the highest standards of reliability and safety while always preserving the environment, because it gives us a competitive advantage at a time when the company is moving towards expanding its reach in the global gas transport market.”
