Earlier, a prediction by the Dutch astrologer Frank Hougerbits appeared on social networks, who believes that due to the approach of the Earth, Mercury and Saturn in the first ten days of March, a “mega-earthquake” with a magnitude of 8.5 and higher may occur, which will affect Kamchatka, the Kuril Islands, Japan, Indonesia.

In the area of the Kuril fault, in principle, powerful earthquakes are likely, but not in such a short time period, the Japanese scientist assured. According to him, there are no prerequisites for an earthquake in this region now. In these cases, it is better to listen not to soothsayers, but to scientists, the expert noted.
